VISION
The Calvary Ministry School is a ministry of Calvary Homestead that seeks to equip and empower servant leaders for impactful ministry through rigorous academic instruction, intentional discipleship, and hands-on ministry experiences. Our program fosters deep personal spiritual growth and comprehensive ministry preparation, cultivating individuals who are biblically grounded, spiritually mature, and practically skilled to serve in diverse ministry contexts.
The Calvary Ministry School was established in 1987 and is one of the oldest established schools among Calvary Chapel Churches. Over the years, this program has helped develop individuals towards the service of the body of Christ through classroom instruction and local engagement.
One of the challenges in a church-based school is to provide a bridge between the classroom instruction and the work of ministry. Through this program we will seek to establish three components:

ACCREDITATION
The Calvary Bible Ministry School is a private, non-denominational Christian discipleship program. We offer courses in biblical studies, theology, and ministry training. However, it's important to note that our program is not accredited by the state of California or any other state or national accrediting body.
As a private, faith-based institution, we are not subject to the same regulations and accreditation requirements as state-approved or regionally accredited colleges and universities. Our focus is on equipping believers for effective service, rather than pursuing secular accreditation for academic recognition.
This means our degrees and certificates may not be recognized in the same way as those from accredited institutions. Students should be aware of this distinction when considering our program and how it may align with their educational and career goals. While we strive to maintain high quality educational classes, our program is designed primarily for personal enrichment, spiritual growth, and ministry preparation - not to meet state credentialing or licensure requirements.
Calvary Chapel University (https://calvarychapeluniversity.edu/) may transfer credits from completed courses at Calvary Ministry School. Any transfer of credits is completed at the discretion of the receiving school.
